OFFA

Accessible Design

7 weeks from conception to design renders

OFFA” is a toaster designed to make cleaning the inside of the device easier and more effective. Now, you don’t need to risk electrocution by shaking your toaster upside down or blindly shoving a fork inside to unstick burnt bits because OFFA has removable sides for better access to the inside of the toaster. While regular toasters are designed with side-by-side toasting chambers which are inaccessible from the side, OFFA is comprised of a single file composition so that there is only one chamber to clean, and it can be accessed by either side of the toaster. This ensures that every piece can be effectively cleaned without having to maneuver the device into obscene angles to gain visibility. The heating wires are also separated from where the bread is so that crumbs are less likely to get stuck on and burnt while cooking. In all, this is a safer, cleaner, and healthier toaster that would be a great addition to any kitchen.
